DynaMed is an evidence-based reference tool designed primarily for treatment at the point-of-care. The peer-reviewed summaries, which are updated daily, offer extensive, expert, and well-cited information on more than 3,200 topics. Access DynaMed on the computer or through your mobile device. Follow the app instructions to install DynaMed.
First Consult offers comprehensive medical topic reviews, differential diagnosis and medical procedures with accompanying video. Easy to use, First Consult also links to medical textbooks, patient education, drug information and images. The First Consult app is available only for Apple devices.
UpToDate is a physician-authored clinical support tool which provides medical information in a highly structured, concise manner. Content is updated daily and additional resources include medical calculators and Lexi-Comp, a drug interaction program. Access to UpToDate is only available on campus.
PIER (Physicians’ Information and Education Resource) is a Web-based decision-support tool designed for rapid point-of-care delivery of up-to-date, evidence-based guidance for clinicians. ACP PIER offers over 400 evidence summaries which are uniformly structured and integrated with drug information from AHFS DI® Essentials. The mobile version of ACP Pier is available through the Stat!Ref Mobile app.
Essential Evidence Plus gives access to more than 800 medical topic summaries, Cochrane Systematic Reviews, medical calculators and decision support tools. The highly structured results are extensively hyperlinked to evidence summaries, calculators, and reference articles. Essential Evidence Plus has a mobile version.
AHFS Drug Information Essentials provides an evidence-based foundation to safe and effective drug therapy through an extensive collection of drug monographs. The AHFS DI Essentials app is available through the Stat!Ref Mobile app.
